【劇情簡介】：
今天是山姆.奧利佛21歲的生日.在過去的21年中,他受到了父母極端異常的溺愛.無論是小時候的翹課逃學,成績低劣,還是長大之後的懶惰成性,不學無術.父母對于他諸多的惡習,不僅毫無怨言,還大有爲他歌功頌德之勢.但在今天,山姆那久未思考過的大腦,竟冷不丁地冒出了一個問題--"爲什麽,我這個放在任何家庭都會惹人嫌的活寶,竟享受到了如此多的寵愛?".帶著這個問題,山姆向他的父母進行了一番求證.可答案卻尤如五雷轟頂,令他萬念懼灰----他的靈魂被父母賣了,買主不是旁人,正是上帝的對頭,人類的朋友--大魔頭撒旦.並且在今天,他21歲生日之時,撒旦他人家就要來收貨了.
帶著一身的絕望,甚至連爲什麽都沒問.山姆便一頭沖出了家門.但正如那句俗說所說的"是福不是禍,是禍躲不過"撒旦來了.在經過他老人家一番肯切耐心地開導(威逼,利誘,恐嚇,騷擾)之後.山姆認命了,並接受了撒旦給予的工作--當一名隨時候命的惡靈獵手.把所有從地獄流竄而出的凶鬼打回它們的老窩.
重任在肩,山姆反倒不再害怕.不僅如此,在他的心中竟隱隱地湧現出了一股力量.這股力量讓他與21年無用的生活徹底告了別.
